If I have same name .com .net .biz .org and the .name-name domain all pointing to the same site, will this get me in trouble? I have an .org site that I bought all surrounding domain names and pointed them at the .org

You may wan't to look into how they are pointing.... If you are using forwarding, it is important to know how your registrar is handing the forwarding....
If the sites are indexed in search engines and your registra is using a 302 temporary redirect, it could be no good for the site....
How are they being pointed and who is the regstrar of the extra names?

All registrations and pointing are done by the same company along with hosting.
I don't think they are 302's. I bought the whole ballpark .com .net .biz ext, and told them to point all names at BransonCritic.com. But I choose to use .org for my back-link structure because it is more of an organization of people writing reviews.

A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect.... - This tells search engines that the document has "moved permanently" . So in other words, if you are operating site.com and you buy the domain name si.com, you could set up a 301 permanent redirect at site.com and point it to si.com..
This tells search engines that site.com has moved permanently to si.com and all links pointing to site.com should be considered as if they were pointing to si.com
A 302 permanent redirect just means that this is a temporary situation.... But for some reason, the search engines don't like the 302....

This url may go some way to explaining the search engine problems with 302...

It must be that it is sometimes used miliciously, so all instances of it's use cannot be trusted???
