Waiting For Dmoz

Im just wondering why does it take so long to get into Dmoz. I have a some blogs and its seems that it takes forever. Is anybody here gotten in Dmoz. Im starting to think it takes years to get in.

Years, months, never, who knows. I have heard of it taking about 8 months, they do this because a lot of sites do not usually last that long on the web.

Mr. DMOZ, it is now are “18 month anniversary” from the time I first submitted www.bransoncritic.org. Submit once and forget about it, you told me. Yet, each day I am reminded of the importance of our placement in your directory, so forgetting is hard to do.

I tried 3 times to become an editor, yet you rejected me. I tried to use your resource zone only to be mocked. I tried drugs and alcohol to hallucinate my way in, all to no avail.:bunny:

I will write you on our 24th anniversary of not being in the DMOZ directory.:wave:

Good one, Doug... Don't know if there are any real human beings at DMOZ who will ever read your message, but worth the effort. I guess some of the other search engines use DMOZ data, boy is that a stupid move on their part.

I've got one site that shows a bunch of visits from dmoz.org in the referral log, and if I go to the Link Worth price quote app (http://www.linkworth.com/tools/price-quote.php) it shows "Yes" for DMOZ. But I can't find the site in there anywhere...

Then go to the following and post about the status of your submission:
