The next PR update

Listen up people, I'm making a predicition here.....

I'm seeing alot of behine the scenes tool bar updates gong on.... Alot of back and forth reading on the toolbar...

I have a very good feeling we are going to see an early Pagerank update this time... For the last few updates it has been about quarterly, but I think that it's too predictable for them to do it like that again.... I think they will reinforce their unpredictability this time with a very erly update....

Two uppdates ago was:

January 1st....

The last update was:

April 22nd....

now if they wait three months you would epect it to be sometime in July or August, but that just feels way too predictable to me....

I'm thinking we're going to see it sometime in late May early June....

I wouldn't be surprised at all, if it was on May 22nd, 1 month from the last update...

If they do this one month update, it will create a buzz all over the internet about Google and I think they need it right now....

I have been noticing a few changes using the pr futuretool, but each day it changes just a little

Then last night a few of my pages totally dissapeared from the search results:eek:

If i type "afkf keword for my page" i can see good a few pages of results all mentioning my page within their description yet my page isnt listed....

The last time this happened to me it lasted a while but eventually my pages returned a little stronger...I certainly hope so this time

Are you seeing PR flux then?

One of my sites when from a PR4 to a gray batr WITH a cache, which is very strange.. The only PR flux I have seen was backwards to what PR levels were before the recent update.....


Sometimes this is happens so they can update the new PR and what you see is the old ratings, but nothing concrete with that....

My site moved up to PR2, was expecting better from 15000 uniques a month, but there we go! ;)

if this one was slightly early are they moving things forward or does or will the next one be delayed even longer than usual, it would be nice if they updated it every 3 months instead of 4
I have a lot to keep hold of for the next one so a guess at how far away it is would help lol, i think i take my pr to seriously

One of my sites is new and has some cache on google , and I have traded links with some sites , like 5

How long does it take google to see those links?

if you type in www.nypizzapie.com (http://www.nypizzapie.com) you will see the decription that is right

but if you type in nypizzapie.com without the www it is different , how come and when will that second one change?

Your back link credit is being parsed. I would 301 http://www.nypizzapie.com to www.pizzapie.com Google is looking at absolute url and index as different. Just a thought, maybe Clasione will catch it.

I think the next PR update is going to be really soon, mid January, as I'm starting to see a lot of my sites moving up in the Google SERPS, so something is going on. I just wish Google would finally dump some of the bogus sites that are sitting on top of the keywords I'm working towards position on. UUGH, I hate it when the sites sitting above me are just doorways or old outdated crap.

I havent watched that site that much, but I have checked it periodically over what feels like the last 8 months atleast....

I think they are doing a great job maintaining the information and I have been referred to it buy other knowledgeable people that I guess watch it aswell....

It's probably the best guess we have to look at....

It really doesn't seem like it matters at all anymore to be honest..... Google got what they wanted after all, people aren't focusing on PR like they were.......

Don't want to put words in Clasione's mouth, but PR is one of many factors that affect your search engine position. Concentrate on getting good content on the site and looking for good in-coming links.

i do actually worry about pr, i mean its there for a reason so everyone wants a 10

but i also have to admit its losing its meaning over time, the last update took weeks so maybe their just gonna start blending them in so it happens constantly all the time and there is no actual date.
Saying that, it seems to be like that now but they just update the visual tool bar everynow and again to keep people happy.

Damn, My site is a predicted 6/10 but I take that with a seabed full of salt...

I have a few backlinks but when I look at the iWebTools backlink checker it says two of them are my own domain, one of which is my root domain - http://www.hambodesign.com which shows 6/10 and another page which I have now scrapped due to a site redesign which shows 5/10.

Currently my front page is a 4/10 so I don't know what to make of the above figures... Still a new thing for me!
