Goooooogle OR Google

For about a year now we have seen Google Adsense ads with two different descriptions on them.... Some ads say "Ads by Goooooogle" and some say "Ads by Google"..

For a long time now I have been trying to figure out what the difference is and I can't come up with anything.... I see it on some accounts and not on others... I see it on ads that are relivent and on PSA's and I see it both ways on and off....

Does anyone have any speculations on what either one means.. There has to be something behind the change...... Has anyone figured this out yet?

Here is what Google has to say about it

"[W]e thought “Ads by Goooooogle” would be a fun alternate version of “Ads by Google” for our AdSense ad units. They are both branding features we’ve tested, and we found that “Ads by Goooooogle” is often more memorable for users than “Ads by Google”, so you may notice either label appearing beside your ads at any given time."

So, there really is no reason for it.

Now they actually have that ads by google white image :)

Yea - I have been seeing it off and on..... Wonder what they are doing with that....

As google says it's for fun, but let's wait maybe someone will find another reason.

Don't remember noticing the goooooogle for a while now - are they still doing it?
