HUGE Flux

I'm seeing HUGE fluxuation in traffic accross the board.... I haven't even yet had the chance to anaylise stats and such yet, but I'm seeing signs of BIG changes on Yahoo and Google....

What's happening out there?

How is everyone doing?

I found this site by following another message. I think it was you clasione, thanks! The firm we had hired to market our site, I have since discovered knows very little about SEO. So, I have been on a sharp learning curve over the last week learning whtever I could myself. I was seven up 'til about 1.30am this morning searching all sorts of terms to see what came up with whom and why. This is of course looking at other sites that have been out there for a while, not our new one!

Your situation is a common one which I wish I didn't have to report, but this happens to many companies seeking seo services. It is such a sophisticated field and much like a doctor or physician, the general public never knows he or she doesn't know their stuff unless they can hear it from someone else who have already gotton the shaft from them....

I took a quick peek at your site and before I went any further I can tell you that the redirect to index2.php is something that you will want to discontinue if at all possible....

I know that some web development software is created to publish in this manner, but a redirect is something that a search robot is so- to-speak programmed to frown upon....

1) I would get rid of the scrolling Marquee

2) Remove the red color type (study colors that lead to sales)

3) Pick one picture (I don’t think the hot chick will motivate this type of sales – But what a great pic)

4) Reduce the size of your type/h1/body text

5) Bold h1 only or h3 links

6) Get rid of the spam text at the bottom G will kill you for that

Thank you clasione and bigdoug. Your help is very much appreciated. The "hot words" went up there just a couple of days ago, after we discovered that all of the text on the home page was embedded in pictures, so that there was no text to optimise. The text was added only on Monday this week! We will be getting rid of the text at the bottom forthwith, and I shall be meeting with my partners to review your other suggestions before the week is out.
