Trick for branding and traffic

I'm going to share a little branding and traffic tip that will apply if you own a large site....

People have been stealing or "hot linking" to one of my websites for a particular image for a very long time...

I've let them get away with it, and now I've hit them with my sales tool....

Now that I have noticed that the image gets pulled from my server every few minuets, I have changed this image into a banner ad for my site. It's not clickable, but the banner basically says "visit now" and has my url on it...

It's pretty funny, but for the next few days I should have a nice advertisement scattered around the web that should convert into a decent amount of traffic.... :lol:

Way to go Brother! Screw those F***** Stealing B******. I have been bogggggged down for the last 5 days going after copyright idiots and pic stealing mongrels witch has been at an epidemic level. Some of my competitors are so bold as to steal articles right off my site and post them same day that I upload them to try and beat the Google cashing. However, once they get a letter from my lawyer they lie and say that they were freely submitted to them from my site. WTF, why the h** would I do that to myself. I know I am not the only person with this problem so I am glad to see you are kicking butt without the expense of a lawyer, Clasione…lol :bunny:
