I had to use this as an example earlier today with a client so I'm going to make it public in the event that it may help someone out there:
A well written ad will determine the cost-per-click....
Example --- Keyword "Sales Prospects"
While this ad:
Sales Lead Lists
Build residential and business sales lead lists in minutes.
www.prospect411.com
could cost 0.40 per click -
The same ad re-written could cost less based on relivence:
Sales Prospect Lists
Build residential and business sales prospects in minutes.
www.prospect411.com
The above ad, would appear just as often if not more often based on "relivence" (notice the bold)
That same ad could appear more often, yet cost only 0.20 since it is more relivent and properly written than another advertiser. (PPC networks like ads to be as relivent as possible, yeilding a better result for both the user and the advertiser)
This could save an advertiser 50% CPC ---- Over time, you could be looking at a HUGE savings when making sure your ads are well written........
