Summary: Only stuff that works for my son...
Comment: My son has really sensitive skin. I use this on his body and face and he doesn't have any issues. The other spray types gave him a rash. I generally do not use any sunscreen on his funds unless it's made for the face. I use a spray product by Paula's Choice that is awesome.

Summary: Best on the market...wish it was tear free
Comment: We have used this sunscreen on our son since he was born. Other than the occasional eye sting, it's been wonderful. We recently purchased Banana Boat Baby sunscreen since it's advertised as being tear-free. It is definitely tear-free...however, my son (and I) got badly sunburned today after only two hours in the sun. This has never happened with Water Babies...we won't make that mistake again.

Summary: Sunblock
Comment: This stuff works great on the kids (1 & 3). No complaints. However, I will say that you can get these 8 oz. bottles at Walmart for $7.87 ea. which makes this more expensive. Better still, for like $9.20 at a Sam's Club you can get a 12 ox. bottle.

Summary: it stings my face
Comment: This stuff stings when I put it on my face. (No problem for arms, shoulders etc.) My wife has no problem with it at all. Everytime my kids put it on, I ask them if it stings and they agree with me that it does. I have better luck with the Hawaiian Tropic with Parsol.

Summary: Don't use around the eyes!
Comment: Overall, this isn't a bad sunscreen. It contains avobenzone, which is recommended by dermatologists for its broad-spectrum protection. The scent is light and not too objectionable. It's a little thicker than some sunscreens, which makes it more difficult to spread, but it also ensures more complete coverage. One minor drawback is that it's greasy and sticky, as are most sunscreens. But the worst problem is migration into the eyes (Coppertone products seem to be among the worst with this). Since it's advertised as waterproof and "non-stinging" and is specifically targeted for use on young children, you'd think it would be safe to use close to the eyes, but such is not the case. My young daughter had a small amount of water splash her face, and she instantly felt the sunscreen stinging her eye. This was about an hour after application, and the amount of water that hit her eye was only a few drops. The debilitating discomfort persisted for the entire day and couldn't be relieved by rinsing her eye with saline. (Water Babies isn't waterproof on the eyelids, but apparently it sticks pretty well to the eye itself!)

So the bottom line is that this sunscreen is acceptable for use on the body, but avoid using it anywhere near the eyes.
