The Shoe Pouch was designed by Grantwood Technology, LLC to allow runners and walkers to use the Nike+ iPod Sport Kit® or Nike+ SportBand with any type of shoe. When designing the Shoe Pouch, our primary goal was to ensure a snug fit, extensively testing it with reinforced, nylon lace loops, and a Velcro® closure over the insertion slit. These designs maximize the durability of the Shoe Pouch while, most importantly, maintaining the accuracy of the Nike+® system. The Shoe Pouch matches the correct longitudinal alignment of the sensor, completely covers the sensor and attaches through the laces for excellent security. With a small, low profile, secure, neoprene design, the Shoe Pouch is the answer to using the Nike+iPod® with any style of shoe.With over 60,000 sold, we have saved our customers well over a $6,000,000 in purchases of new Nike+® shoes. The pouch fits securly on my Brooks running shoes and is very accurate. I have had no problems with the sensor and Nike+iPod nano reading each other. Comment: I've heard people talk about what a nuisance it is to have a Nike chip for your shoe (if you don't own Nike running shoes, that is). Evidently they weren't using this shoe pouch. I have two pairs of running shoes and one of these pouches on each pair--the chip is easily removed from it's pouch and transferred to another pair; however, while in the pouch it is secure and snug. No danger of falling out. I have told everyone about this product and am buying pouches for my friends and family!
