The volatility began around June 4, intensified on June 9, and peaked between June 16 and June 18, according to data from multiple search tracking tools including SEMrush Sensor and BrightLocal. Business owners in areas like Delray Beach, Wellington, and Hollywood reported a steep drop in visibility, even for long-standing, well-reviewed Google Business listings.


“We Were Just Gone” — Local Listings Drop, Then Reappear

Some businesses vanished from the coveted top-three map pack overnight — only to reappear days later with different review highlights, altered categories, or completely new positions.
